SpeedGrade CC14 doesn't open when using the "Direct Link to Adobe SpeedGrade..." from PremierePro CC14.
I can open SG from the desktop/start menu and I can open the PP project in SG just fine. The PP project contains 3 timelines and I get to pick the one I want with no problems. Returning to PP from SG works just fine as well. It seems to only thing not working is automatically opening the PP project file and selecting the correct timeline in SG.
I've had a look at the "C:\Users\john bishop images\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\SpeedGrade\8.0\logs\SpeedGrade.log" but it doesn't get updated when I try to use the Direct Link command from PP. It does get updated when I invoke SG from the desktop/start menu. Note that none of the other log files are updated either (Plugin Loading.log, Trace Database.txt and Debug Database.txt). All of these do get updated when I run from the desktop/start menu. It would seem that SG is not even being called.
I have uninstalled both SG and PP and re-installed (all into the default directories) and that all seemed to go OK but no change.
I also added 2 Profile Policies to the NVIDIA Control Panel, one to just display a message when SpeedGrade.exe is loaded and another to display a slightly different message when SpeedGradeCmd.exe is loaded. Invoking SG from the desktop/start menu causes the message for SpeedGrade.exe to be displayed. Using the "Direct Link" File option from PP doesn't display anything, reinforcing my thinking that SG is simply never being called from PP.

PS... I've used the Adobe Cleaner Tool noted elsewhere and tried the NVIDIA workarounds as well -- all to no avail.
