Hm, I just held down the Alt key and clicked on an Adjustment panel icon and it popped up this:
I'm running Windows 8.1 with Photoshop CC 2014.1 here. What happens when you hold Alt and click the Curves button like I did? Does it just insert a Curves layer without any prompt?
